The sounds from the construction site are elaborated through an ambiguity between the referencial of these materials and the abstract of the electroacoustic composition. "When I was a child my parents were against television. We did not have a tv set. I couldn’t hear the audio and sometimes I watched a narrow slice of image at my neighbour's tv, however I used to spend hours imagining my own stories with my own music from those segments of image. Deconstrucción 1 is an audio visual piece for piano, electroacoustics and video. The whole piece and materials come from a set of spectral analysis from egyptian, arabic and iranian traditional music. The final result is an incidental music to perform live, similar to the ancient cinemas." Ongoing. |
